Explorer Report Rubric
2012 – 5th Grade

1. Background. This included date and place of birth, family, and jobs held before exploring.

2. Sponsor. Which country were they sailing for, and a map of Europe showing the country clearly

3. Motives. Why were they sailing, specifically?

4. Dates of exploration

5. Route(s) Where did he leave from and where did he end up? Did he take more than one Voyage?

6. Impact. What were the long lasting effects of your explorer?

7. ALL sources listed on a Bibliiography page
